The Canon L3115 Printer error 031006 generally occurs due to a defective print head or when a non-Canon ink cartridge is installed. The error code in question can also be caused by a lack of communication between the print head and the printer.
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Make sure that the printer is plugged in and turned on.
Step 2: Remove and reinstall the print head.
Step 3: Make sure that the installed ink cartridge is Canon. If not, replace it with a genuine Canon ink cartridge.
Step 4: Clean the print head contacts.
Step 5: Perform a power reset by disconnecting the printer from power and leaving it for a few minutes.
Step 6: After the power reset, check if the issue persists.
If the printer error 031006 still persists, then there is a possibility that the print head is damaged or defective. If so, contact a service center for further assistance.
